Headlights are found on every motor vehicle that is able to legally drive on the road, as they are a global requirement for vehicles to have. Headlights are highly capable of performing their duties well. However, many manufacturers include two additional sets of lights on their vehicles to allow drivers to have ample amounts of light during every time of day and weather conditions.

Daytime Running Lights

Daytime running lights, also known as DRL's, are strips of lights that are normally installed on the top or bottom of a set of headlights. Daytime running lights stay on anytime a driver turns their vehicle on. Daytime running lights are not equipped on every vehicle around the world but are equipped on most modern vehicles. In fact, in some countries, manufacturers are required by law to include daytime running lights.

Fog Lights

Fog lights are lights that are positioned on the lower portion of a vehicle's bumper. Fog lights increase drivers' visibilities during foggy or misty weather conditions.
